When my dancing dream came true it was literally like millions of stars lighting up in the night sky all at once. The world smiled - the sun shone and birds sang.
When students/dancers that you have spent hours upon hours with everyday for years dreams come true it’s the
biggest present that keeps on giving.
It’s a long emotional journey that the teacher and student take together but a trip that can bring so much reward.
I am proud, extremely proud that every student that graduated in 2016 and 2017 under my Directorship at the NTBS is now dancing in a professional ballet company. They worked so hard, they listened, they applied, they analysed and then they tried again. What dedicated, beautiful, determined, young people I had the pleasure of teaching/coaching every day.
They are now living the DREAM.
